I don’t have normal Wednesdays. I’m not sure when this weird trend started, but it’s super bizarre and kinda awesome at the same time. Weird how often those adjectives coincide.

Here’s how my day went today:

7:50 am – Wake up so I can sign in and grab a bagel from the dining hall by 8

8 am – Go back to sleep.

9 am – Wake back up and actually get dressed.

9:40 am – Go to class.

10:30 am – Speak (and make a fool of myself by saying our town is the birthplace of the American Revolution rather than the Industrial Revolution. Dies) at student achievement assembly about my internship.

2 pm – Get out of classes, only had three, head to internship.

2:20 -3:40 pm – Drive around with my intern mentor downtown, creeping down streets filming random buildings and even knock on the door of a church, spend twenty minutes waiting for someone to get confirmation to let us in, then proceed to film the Tiffany windows inside.

4 pm -5:30 pm – Do homework.

5:30 pm – Go film the Lacrosse game and get some dinner. Spend rest of time studying for AP test next week.

7:30 pm – Check in everyone on the hall because my proctor asked me to since I’m going to be one myself next year. (A proctor is like a senior in charge of each hall who does check in every night, like and RA in college)

Pretty thrilling stuff I think. Not really. Anyway, I wanted to touch on this really odd habit I have gotten into. In class, mostly math, I have the tendency to draw like super intense doodles on my notebook. Not like hearts and stars, but like full out drawings. I think it’s weird, but it actually seems to help me pay attention, and I’ve been acing things in math recently. Check out some of my latest masterpieces below.

Let me update you on my life up to this point.

alskjdgoiajwegjasldg.

What is seen above is pretty much it. I shall list the following things that make me wanna pull my hair out and/or admit myself to an insane asylum.

1) Finish the video for my internship due like…soon…I don’t even know when, but it’s over an hour long and I’ve majorly procrastinated and now am paying.

2) Finish/actually start my video my school’s athletic director is asking me to do out of the goodness of my heart.

3) Study for the AP United States History test on May 11th.

4) Study for the three SAT II Subject Tests I’m taking May 5th.

5) Manage not to spontaneously combust over the rooming assignments for next year coming out this weekend.

6) Organize track apparel payment. The pains of being team manager.

7) Get a job for the summer!!?! Even when on the other side of the country.

Everything totally doesn’t sound that awful when listed like that. But it is. Dies. Imma try and make a new layout here to up my motivation. We’ll see.

I’m going to see Beauty and the Beast tomorrow night in 3D. It’s only being released in theaters for one night, can you believe that? Dang Disney and their urgent marketing scheme. Beauty and the beast isn’t really my favorite Disney movie or anything, it’s more of the fact that I never got to see it in theaters myself. That makes this pretty special. I’ve heard rumors of Disney re-releasing Lady and the Tramp and also Finding Nemo back into theaters. Lady and the Tramp never really did it for me, but Finding Nemo was like my seven year old life. I saw it in theaters like six times, no joke. Might need to see it again, just because it’s in 3D. It’s like how they’re re-releasing Titanic in 3D. Oh my god don’t even get me started on that.

I’ve gotta go write my final possition paper for ethics, make a AP US History Review for four chapters, and study some math vector thing all while trying to keep my sanity. Ugh.

I’ve been on a major V for Vendetta kick since watching the movie last Monday night. It was so intense, I’m pretty much in love with it. I didn’t think it was that impressive at first, but now that a few days have passed I can’t seem to stop thinking about it therefore it might be added to my top 25 favorite movie list. Definitely not top ten, but certainly top 15. What really stuck with me was the introductory monologue, which I swear I will recite if I ever need to memorize a monologue.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished…The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

But on another note: Happy Thanksgiving! I’m on break right now and loving it. Just went to the Black Eyed Peas concert yesterday which was amazing! So that’s what’s up with me, what’s up with you?

Not even going to reference my long absence from this blog. Although I sort of just did. Whoops. Long story short, I returned to school in New York and sort of got caught up in the end of my summer and the beginning of the school year.

The following is a little overview of my summer and the random tidbits of knowledge that I picked up along the way.

It’s impossible to not to go bed late. I started my summer sleeping at like 10 pm. That quickly transitioned to like 2 am.

Working isn’t fun. I hate the real world.

The customer isn’t always right, but we’ll pretend they are. This was like the motto of my short career as a receptionist. Customers complain like crazy about crap I can’t control but whatever, juts go with it. They don’t wanna pay twenty bucks? Discount ten and call it a day.

Jetskiing is life. Gotta get me one of those.

Teen clubs suck. But it was worth it because I added Lil Chris on Facebook. (see previous posts)

Wear sunscreen. The Florida sun has no mercy for pale skin.

It’s difficult to scream when plummiting down a 120ft water slide. Especially when said slide is at a 90 degree angle straight down and your bathing suit gets stuck in places bathing suits should not get stuck.

Hammock + Disney World + 2AM + Sweet 16 = perfection. ‘Nuff said.

There are infact humane ways to kill a fish. But we’ll call what happened “assisted suicide.” (Stay tuned for a full post explaining this little adventure.

I apologize for my short absence. I’ve been super busy with my end of the summer entertainment. To start with, two Saturdays ago I went to Vans Warped Tour! It was my second year going and it was a blast! I was there with two friends and one of my friends ex/boyfriend (I honestly can’t figure out there relationship) and it was their first time. We got there at eleven in the morning and waited in this like mosh pit just to get in! I love most pitting, and that’s what we did basically all day.

We even experimented with some circle pits. For those not familiar with rock concerts, the circle pit is basically a circle that forms in the middle of a mosh pit where either A) guys beat each other up, or B) everyone furiously runs around counter-clockwise. My friend for some reason enjoyed them and kept pulling me in. I only would go into the ones that looked like they wouldn’t kill me. Things in there were insane, everyone was rushing around, there was dirt everywhere, someone pulled my hair viciously, and I think I bit someone’s shoulder. My friend even got to crowd surf! I wanted to but the idea of getting groped and possibly dropped was enough for me to decide not to. I got to see some awesome bands though such as: The Ready Set, Gym Class Heroes, A Day to Remember, Blood on the Dance Floor, Simple Plan, and Attack Attack! It was so much fun!

Last weekend I went to North Carolina to visit family and go white water rafting. It was a blast, I very much enjoyed the rafting. Gotta do that again sometimes. This Sunday I’m going to Disney World (once again) for my sixteenth birthday, which isn’t until the 28th, but I’ll be back at school by then. I’m having a difficult time getting back into the school thing, I have a ton of summer homework left and I still have yet to keep up running consecutively. Ugh, why can’t summer last forever?

Let me tell you about my last Saturday night. So my friend Briana is about to turn 17, so she’s still too young for a regular club. She finds this stupid thing called “Club Pure Energy” which just sounds lame, and it has a 14-17 teen night. Due to my not having anything better to do with my time, I decided to go with her and drag our other friend Shanti into it. We get there early, like the losers we are, because “the first ten people get a free itunes giftcard.” That’s where the irony comes in. Ten people didn’t even show up. There were my friends and I, and four other guests. That was it.

Then of course they offered entertainment! Nothing less than “Lil Chris” who performed on (and was voted off of) Americas Got Talent last season. Nobody knew who he was. He was actually a pretty decent singer though. After his big performance my friends and I went to go sit in the corner awkwardly again and laugh at this experience, but Lil Chris headed our way with his two brothers. I thought the night was about to turn around. Lil Chris said he wanted to “chill” with us and his brothers. He asked our ages (we’re 15, 16, and 17) and then proceeded to ditch us with his brothers who were both 13 so he could go hit on some 14 year old girl. Soon after trying to dance next to us awkwardly, the brothers ditched us too.

So that’s basically how the night went. We got ditched by youngsters because we were too old. It was weird. And probably the funniest things that has ever happened to me in my life.

I finally finished my newest music video. I seem to have a Katy Perry problem because those are the only songs I seem to use. Please excuse the quality of this one, it makes me want to barf. I got really lazy and saved it in way less quality in order to save time. I plan to resave it in better quality later. It would make my life if you could comment on it/like it/do something with it. For some reason it has way less views than my other videos.

There’s this annoying lawn mower outside that’s been turning on and off all dang afternoon testing my patience. I should be used to it because at school it’s like lawn maintenance world. Since there’s a constant flow of “prospective applicants” touring the campus daily, my school is pretty obsessive about keeping the grass PERFECT. I swear, they mow it every day. It’s overkill. And they start mowing SO EARLY. There’s like some rule they can’t start before 7. So at like 7:01 they’re all out there ready to roll and cut some grass and most importantly WAKE ME UP.

My summer feels really strange so far. I haven’t been running as much as I should. I feel like I can get away with it because I ran all year so I know I could just walk in there the first day and be better than a majority of the people there (in order to sound less conceited, let me just say there’s only about ten people there for cross country so that isn’t saying much). And we’re always begging for team members anyway so my coach can’t really do anything. People always quit cross country once they realize running is involved. I sit around all day looking for excuses not to run, then feel bad when I don’t. Right now I’m praying it rains.

I went running last Monday and I threw up afterwords. It was so ridiculous. I do not puke. Ever. It was the first time since I got sun poisoning in forth grade. I think it’s because I drank the smallest bit of gatoraid beforehand. I don’t know what’s with that stuff but it always makes me feel sick. I only made it like two miles at the slowest trot ever before I had to stop and take a breath. Then I got this feeling. I can’t even describe it, maybe anyone who pukes frequently (that sounds odd) will understand, but it just feels like “I’m going to throw up.” My mouth starts watering and I’m just like no no no no no. I go into a bathroom stall hoping it’s just my imagination, but then it happens and it’s so incredibly unpleasant. I have no clue why I shared this with everyone, it’s extremely disgusting.

Monday I took on another video project which hopefully I can finish editing sometime soon. It’s much darker than my “Last Friday Night” music video (see previous post), which most of my usual videos tend to be. And the editing is much more intense. And I got to use fake blood for no reason other than I just really wanted to use it! Afterwords my actors (AKA: the only friends who were willing to do it) creeped around and took weird pictures which I may or may not post later. Seeya.

It’s Monday around noon. Same idea. The name was inspired by my newest music video, starring my friend Briana and a Katy Perry song. It was super fun to make, but took hours to film and days to edit (even though I got lazy). Check it out below and let me know what you think…
It wasn’t really supposed to have much humor at all, it just sorta ended out that way due to my friends acting style (or lack thereof). I got lazy in the editing though, it took multiple days and my program decided it hated me and crashed every few seconds. I’ll be getting a much better one as soon as I get my first paycheck.

Speaking of paychecks…I was at work two days ago and some strange stuff went down. First of all I should have known it’d be a weird day because someone brought in thier pet parrot (really?) to take their senior pictures with. Shortly after, a girl comes in around my age with her BABY! So that’s a little…out there…bringing her baby to her senior photos. But that’s not the weirdest thing. I look up and I see her CHANGING HER BABY on the waiting room chairs! I turn to my coworker and say “this is actually happening” because I cannot believe she’s doing that right there in front of everybody! We have plenty of bathrooms, she couldn’t use those?! She actually ended up taking her pictures with her baby, who wouldn’t stop crying.

What do you guys think about all this teen pregnancy stuff? I mean I like the show “Teen Mom” as much as the next person, but this is starting to become a common thing.
